Howdy all. I haven't found a tutorial here (or anywhere) that actually says how to do this and i don't know whether it is so easy that i shouldn't have to look or if people leave these functions to sql code.

I would like to simply use an excel SS (or some other simple data entry point) to feed information and generate a table online.

In the grand scheme of things i am trying to make it easy for a buddy to update his real estate listing (Table) without teaching him how to physically code it all in one by one. Some easily upload-able spread sheet or even an external .js containing raw data would be nice, but if someone has an even easier solution i am all ears.

Thanks all, I appreciate anything i can get :)

I notice that you have asked 6 questions on the forums and haven't yet found any of the answers useful. Have a look at faq222-2244 which will give you guidance on forum usage.

For this question search the forum for 'CMS' (content management system)

Well to spare my buddy learning Html i suppose i can learn PHP, lol.

Does that sound like the best option? >.<

About the stars, i haven't posted anything in a while and i was being stupid back in the day. I went back and shot some thanks out. ^.^

Thanx

Another option is to have him export an xml file that you pull in with AJAX. (I typically use php or perl to include external data, but I don't want to suggest that those are the only ways).

Thanks for the 'Thanks'

There are a number of ready made CMS solutions around - a search on the forum and Google will find them.
