From CNC - What is difference between JDE8 and JDE5

I need to know if there is a difference between JDE5 and JDE8 as far as CNC is concerned.
 
JDE 5 is just marketing hype that actually refers to JDE 8 as in 8.9x with the most current release being 8.93, as I recall. No change in CNC-related issues at all. Instead of B7333, I think it would just be B8931 or whatnot.

That said, there's a lot of new functionality as JDE rolls Xe Update 7 & 8 into it as Update 1 or whatnot. CNC functions will be mostly unchanged if past experience is correct.
 
Correction - I was confusing B8.9x with JDE 5. Actually JDE5 is B7334 once its installed.
