Hi everyone -

I have 3 7310's that I'd like to take out of service and replace with 7324's. Before purchasing, I wanted to check to be sure I can just unplug the 7310's and that the 7324's would be automatically detected. Is there anything I have to do to the system aside from just plugging the replacement phones in?

Many thanks for the help,
Michael.

Yes you can just plug them in. If I was buying new phones, I would buy 7316E's, there esier to program.

Unless you are running 6.1 or 7.0 software, the 7316 will map like a 7310 but with 10 fewer programmable keys.
But you do get 16 LCD keys instead of 10 and the price point for a 7316 will be a lot lower than a 7324 or 7310

Thanks for all of the helpful posts, guys. I checked the system version that we are using, and this is what the system responds with: SP: 30nCG20 NAT Would the 7324's work with this configuration?

Thanks!
-Michael.

Yes- that should be an MICS-1.0 (R1T1)
FYI- there is an FAQ on SP release codes.
