We have some issues with current system, running 6.2 on W2K. Legato tech support suggested downgrade to 6.1.3. I just would like to know if anybode tried that. Any problems, recomendation?
You cannot simply uninstal 6.2 and install 6.1.3. The /nsr/res directructure is completely different, and there is no official utility that will convert back to a 6.1.x format.
Contact Legato for assistance to convert the res directory back to a 6.1.x format.
Your alternative is to recover a bootstrap that was backup before you upgraded to 6.2.
FYI 6.1.x and 6.2 are different build trees. This is why 6.1.3 is the latest version available.
keziah: just what makes you think 6.2 is 6.0.x with a patch??? Look at the 6.2 and 6.0.x release supplements; you'll see that there are more than just a special patch.
6.0.x, 6.1.x, 6.2, and 7.0 are all different NetWorker build versions.
