Friendly URL's

Hi

I host a webserver on windows 2003 and wish to know hoe to code my pages so that when a user clicks a link it doesnt display the full link, just the domain name forexample...

http://domain.com

to be displayed all the time rather than

http://domain.com/index.htm

you would have to use frames. that way you will always show the url of your first loaded page

What you are referring to is not a friendly url, what's friendly about not seeing what the url of the page you are on is?

Be aware that if you do this trick, unskilled users will not be able to bookmark (or link to) any page in your site other than the front page. Also, like all framed sites, you may confuse some search engines and disabled visitors.

All-in-all, decidedly unfriendly if you ask me.
