Friday Diversion

I have an old black bakelite 200 series phone that I would like to connect to our option 11. I have connected it to a standard 500 port and am able to ring out. When calling the phone though it does not ring.

Could somebody let me if I need to wire up a master socket or something.

ps. May need to be told how to wire up a socket

you will need a master socket,, connect to 2 & 5
but the bell may not ring if the set is a serial ringing phone..you will need to convert it to paralel ringing
