I am running Raptor 6.0.2 on Win NT 4 SP 5 and in the last week the firewall has crashed almost every night at the same time (just after midnight). I know that this sounds as though the problem lies with the logfiles but I have made sure that there is plenty of diskspace available (more than 3GB with logfiles of around 800MB - 1GB).

The system has always been stable until now and there have been no recent configuration changes. If anyone could shed any light on the problem or where to start looking then I would really appreciate it. I have checked both the system log files and the Raptor log file (altough the vital part of the log file is always missing as it doesn't start logging again until after I have restarted it).

Although I can't help with your problem, I can tell you that if you read the logs with a text editor instead of the RMC, you will find additional information.

Thanks for that, I am using Reptor to try and filter the log files. Part of the problem is that I'm no firewall expert, I've inherited the job, so I'm not entirely sure what I should be looking for. There are loads of port scans but there has been since day 1.
