Here is the situation.
In every email coming from an external source the french characters (é, à, è, ç) are replaced by chinese looking characters. This affects users on Office 2000 and Office 2003 french and english. with windows XP french and english. If the email is sent from within the office all the characters are displayed correctly.
The emails are coming through an Exchange 2003 server.
Any help would be appreciated.
