Freezing after login in

After entering a username and password weather onto a domain or locally the XP box will freeze... I only have access to task manager if I do CTR+ALT+DEL..

I've tried safe mode but it does the same thing.

Also last none good wont work because I’ve already attempted to login in so it's written over the last good settings.

Anyone had this problem before

Have you changed to DDR recently? Pain is temporary.
