C V9. I have a report that requires the employee's pay rate today and their pay rate after raises are applied. If I run the report today to get today's pay rate, is there a way to "freeze" that data in place so that I can run the same report at a future date and pick up the new rate? There is only one payrate field. The report would look like this:

EmpName Current Pay Rate Pay Rate after raise
J. Doe 11.97 12.51

I would appreciate anyone's advise. Thanks!

You could always export, maybe to Excel. Export is the icon of the white envelope with the downward red arrow, at least on Crystal 8.5.

Yes, you are correct. I could export to Excel or Access but I was hoping to save that step and have it all in the Crystal report. I may be reaching for the sky. Thanks for your response!

I'm surprised that the database does not have a pay rate history table.

Our Crystal database has a 'Date Stamp' that shows the date when it was copied from the mainframe. Using that, it is possible to compair the current value to last month's. But that's a matter of database design, not Crystal as such.
