I have code that sends a query from Access to Excel formated. I want to freeze the top row of the worksheet. Any ideas??? Everything I've tried doest work

The following freezes the top row of a worksheet (sheet2)

Sub freeze()
Worksheets("sheet2").Activate
Range("A2").Select
ActiveWindow.FreezePanes = True
End Sub

This is what I ended up using.

xlsWorksheet.Rows(2).Select
xlaApplication.ActiveWindow.FreezePanes = True
