I have a small NT4 network . One of the client machines started to freeze up just as the logon screen was appearing. This is a W95 box with a P1 100Mhz processor, 2Gb h/d and 16Mb RAM. I removed Windows Networking but it does the same at the windows logon screen.I can however boot-up in safe mode.

Any suggestions?

1. Try a step by step boot (press F8 before 95 boots and select from menu) to see if problem is caused by loading a particular driver).

2. If its not that, see if its caused by what's being loaded when windows starts - can help with this.

You don't mention if anything had been done/happened to this machine (eg hardware/software added/removed, major crash, virus) before this started happening.
