We have a report that has a subreport in it. The subreport looks at a whole cohort of students and shows various statistics based on test scores. This data is then passed back to the report. The main report looks at an individual child and then compares, for instance, how many students got the same score, how many scored more and how many less etc.

We need to 'freeze' the data in the subreport so that it is always the same for the whole cohort everytime a report is run for an individual student.

Any ideas. HELP! Learn something new every day *:->*

Thank you that is sort of what we were doing anyway. What we really wanted to do was to 'freeze' the data in the subreport so that even if changes were made to the underlying data the subreport data didn't change.

What we did in the end was to export the data from the subreport to a csv file then use the static csv file as the basis for the subreport. (Does that make sense?)

Cheers for your help anyway. Learn something new every day *:->*
