I no longer remember how to freeze column labels in Excell. I am using Office 97. The reference material I have is of no use. Appreciate any help.

Select the cell around which you want to freeze the cells. Then select WINDOW and then FREEZE PANES.

Is this what you need?

Select a cell.

Anything above and to the left of the selected cell stays frozen.
If you select cell'A2', Row'1' stays frozen.
If you select 'B2', Row'1' & Column'A' stay frozen. etc.... *Remember.......
If you don't use your head,
your going to have to use your feet.
