Freeware to monitor IBM NIC for bad packet?

I’m trying to find some freeware that I can monitor CRC/etc error on an IBM NIC. Does anyone know where I can find it?

Ethereal is fantastic. It is, however, a fully featured protocol analyser and will show you EVERYTHING happening on the connection. Can be a bit overwhelming at first.


Also, practically any managed switch will have basic error counters built-in.
