Freeware management software Catalyst 3550

I'am looking for management software for the catalyst 3550.
Is there a freeware package available?

What parts do you want to manage? I use MRTG to monitor utilization and wrote a VB program to check errors on each port of my switches.

did you purchase an SNMP package for VB or did you write your program with basic VB code. I'm thinking about trying my hand at some small VB apps to make my life easier and am looking for some examples..

I wrote some VB code to do the task. I use the http interface built into most switches and capture what comes back. I know, plain-text passwords getting sent which isn't the best, but I don't do this a whole lot. I'll see if I can find some code to paste here a bit later.
