Freeset versus ELU31

Hi All

Since it has been a while since I worked with the Ericsson Freeset (AB protocol), I would like to ask you if I have these FreeSet bases (cow horn) and the are running the AB protocol, if they can be upgraded to run the GAP protocol. Or is it needed to change some HW.
Pls let me know.

You can update them to GAP.
