Hi, Can a freeset be included in a hunt group with analogue extensions? I've tried but it doesn't bounce. BC9
Cheers

sure it can,

what do you mean by "it doesn't bounce??"

It is the first choice in a cyclic setup, If you call the hunt group number it just rings and doesn't 'bounce' to the next choice ext.
cheers

well, MD110 group hunts were never designed to do that.
it will only bounce to the next group member when the precedent member is BUSY. if you want this kind of functionality you have 2 options :

a) get repeated diversion patch package from your local provider (it's not free...)
b) upgrade your pbx to BC12, and use profiles

cheers

Hi
I have new suggestion (propositions)

Use DND /Do Not Disturb/ Function for group members.
If nobody have a freeset this freeset should be “blocked” as DND. This same shame for analog phone users. In this situation ring signal will be send to available group members only.
Next proposition is to change Hunt Group to ACD group
But in this situation freeset can be connected as the last position in the Queue,

Reply to Whosrdaddy - My Hunt groups also hunt on no answer.
Cheers

Why so complicated? A Huntgroupmember should always tell the MD110, whether he is available for huntgroup or not. This happens with *21*own number#. Then you need no "bouncing". Because this means, that caller must wait longer as wished.
