Hi,

Maybe I'm in the wrong newsgroup but I only see dtp related messaged in the freehand newsgroup.

So I'll just try:
We have a windows 2000 domain and several people working with freehand on a 2000 workstation.

When the're logged in as user they can't select some of the printers that are in our default printer list.
With a domain admin account they can select all printers.

They need to print on a powerfull color printer which is not selectable from the list in freehand but is available in windows 2000.

Has anyone had this problem also?, or can someone give me some tips about this.

Kind Regards,

Have you checked the permissions on the Printers? If all can use the printers then you could setup Everone with full access. If not you will need to creat a new Group and give them access to it.

-set them all to LOCAL ADMINISTRATOR because they are only user profiles which have little access to anything
-go to control panel -> administrative tools -> computer management -> local users & groups
-in the groups -> click on administrators & click 'add'
servername/username or domainname/username

-hope that helps
