I have to connect a Freecom Traveller II - cd rw with a PCMCIA cable. After installing on a laptop, the driver simply doesn't work. Second test on a desktop, the driver crashes the system on startup. I suppose that there is an IRQ- and/or DMA-problem involved, but I am not sure. On the laptop, under Control Panel/SCSI-adaptor, I get the freecom... (not started), driver not loaded. That's the only trace that something happened (except for the PCMCIA-Card, where the insertion of the card is marked - there, also, as an undefined card without drivers).
Any idea how to make this thing working (works fine under W2k, btw) would be appreciated.
