I remember under Nortel's site, you could grab the latest SIP or Unistim software for the IP sets off their site for free.

Now under Avaya's site you need a "Sale To" or "Nortel ID" in order to download any software.

Anyone know a workaround? I am one of those Nortel geeks that has a system in their house. The place I bought the phone system from is out of business and I do a lot of provisioning on my own....Nortel's site was very helpful.

Any authorized Avaya partner should be able to get the firmware for you. If you're not registered as a customer, go ahead and do that and you may be able to download the firmware yourself. Some of the restrictions were placed on downloading software and firmware by export controls, requiring one to be registered to get it.
