Free hand Measure

Hi,

Does anybody know if there is a free-hand measure tool?

Ive got a map and i wanted to trace my route and then work out the distance to scale.

...illustrator would be good for this. You can trace a line over your map, go to document info palette and in the flyout menu choose objects, this will then show you the total length of that line you have traced...

...photoshop doesn't have such a feature unfortunately...
