I have to compare the most used free DBMS to choose one of them to start a DB server.
For now I have discovered that mySQL and PostgreSQL are the main competitors.
mySQL is more simple, easy to use, but have no transaction rollbacks, triggers and some other stuff.
Postgre, on the other hand, is more slow, complex, and less reliable.
I wantes to know:
1) if the above information is right
2) what else can you tell me about those DBMS'
3) where can I find both of them to d/l (Windows versions - both NT and Win 9x)
4) if there's another free DBMS worth spending time to compare with these 2
