My LAN domain is company.local and we have a public domain of company.com. I set the primary email address as company.com and everything seems to be working as far as sending/receiving email.
However, when I schedule an appointment in Outlook 2003 and type in an attendee, the free busy info tries to use the Microsoft Internet free/busy service instead of getting the info from the exchange server. It pulls the person's email address as @company.com and seems to assume it is an external address. If I type in user@company.local it works fine.
Is this a DNS issue? We have an internal DNS server that exchange is using (it is not a split DNS). How can I make the free/busy info pull from the exchange server?
Thanks in advance for any help!
