Im in process of migrating from Ex2003 to Ex2007. I have tried everything I can find on the net but have not been able to fix this problem.

I have a couple users' mailboxes migrated to Ex2007 that use Outlook2007. They are not able to see anyones free/busy schedules (everything else seems to be working fine).

If I log them on to a machine with Outlook2003 (their mailbox is still on Ex2007 server) - free/busy works fine for them.

I have tried the /CleanFreeBusy (or whatever the switch was) with no luck. I tried a regedit about using LegacyFP but that didnt work...I have found alot of people with a similar problem - but I havent found a solution that fixes me...

Any suggestions?

Sounds like one of the Autodiscover URLs is incorrect, and it's not able to contact the Availability Service for the Free Busy info. Outlook 2007 uses web services, where Outlook 2003 uses Public Folders.

Whoops - meant to add

In Outlook 2007, Ctrl-Right-click on the Outlook system tray icon. Choose Test Email AutoConfiguration and go through that.

Forgot to say I had tried that too - it all tested okay - that does seem to be the common fix from all the searches I have done - wish it was my fix !!

Is there a replica of the public folders on the 2007 server? I suspect that in the application log, you'll see an error where it's looking at the 2007 for the PF.

Solved my problem - Outlook was trying to access the Free/Busy info using but the website was configured to use SSL (so it needed
I turned off SSL and now my free/busy info appears. I dont like turning off SSL, but when my conversion is over, this wont be needed and I can turn SSL back on.
