When attempting to "plan a meeting" from all Outlook clients starting on Januaury 1, 2004 there isn't any free/busy information available.

This is a small Exchange Server 5.5 installation - 1 server/20clients. All clients are either Outlook 2000 or XP. No errors, warnings or other wierdness.

Ideas???

This setting is controlled by Outlook. I believe the default setting is to publish two months worth of data on the server. Here's how to change the setting in Outlook 2000.

In Outlook and choose "Tools", "Options", "Calendar Options", "Free/Busy Options". Change the setting for "Publish _ months of free/busy information on the server" to more than 2.

This will need to be done for each mailbox that is not publishing enough calendar free/busy data. It's also a good idea for calendar delegates to change their free/busy settings as well. This is because sometimes the delegate's free/busy settings will over ride the actual calendar owner's settings.

It was not long ago that I was running around changing this setting on a large number of computers in my company. Talk about a pain. ;-)
