I have an Outlook 2000 user that can't delete a reoccuring appointment. It does not show up in his calendar, but does show up in Free/Busy information and causes conflicts when he wants to schedule a meeting for the time this "fake" appt is reoccuring. He had reoccuring appt at one time, but deleted it. Not too effectively, it seems.

Anyone run across this before? We are running Exchange Server 5.5 sp4 with Windows 2000 Professional workstation.

I have not seen the problem that you are experiencing but have you tried having the user run "Outlook /cleanfreebusy"?
When ever I've had an incorrect display of free/busy information, that has fixed the problem.

Thanks for the info. I am trying to find that tool. Where is it?

You'll want to run this on the user's pc. On Windows 95, it can be run by choosing "start", "run" and then by typing Outlook /cleanfreebusy. The user's Outlook profile is launched. Choose "file, exit and logoff" afterwards and then check to see if it makes a difference with the displaying of their free/busy infomation.

I'm assuming that it is run in the same fashion on a Windows 2000 machine.
