Hello all,
I have a user here I just built a new computer for. Everything is OK, but for one thing.
Every once in a while, an error box pops up and says "Unable to update public free/busy data. Operation failed."
I looked at MS and there was really no help there. Someone on Tek-Tips suggested it was a public folder permission issue. I have looked at the public folders and everything seems in order there.
Does anyone have a direction I could go here?
Exchange 5.5
Windows 2000
Office 2000
Thanks in advance!
Jamie

My guess is you're having network communication issues with the server that hosts the public folders. I get that message from my users workstations whenever I have to reboot my public folder server and they have their outlook running.
