A year ago I had downloaded a free network assest/inventorying management program however I dont remember what it was called. It was a free program and used by MANY large corporations worldwide, I think the product was developed by an individual in europe but it had adverstised on its website a ton of large companies well known companies that were or had used the product. I'll be darned if I can remember the name of it now and cannot find it on the web any longer. I know of LanSweeper but I am looking for other alternatives. We will be rolling out Altiris in the next six months or so but I would like a free program I can use to gather an inventory of our existing hardware and software thoughout our environment in the meantime.

Thank you.

I found the program I was talking about it. It was AIDA32. However I now find out that it is no longer supported. Does anyone by chance have the setup instructions of how to get it functioning correctly in a domain environment so that I can successfully run a scan of all systems throughout my environment?

Thank you.

I'm sure someone at work uses this app, if so i'll ask them tomorrow.
