frecover 4301

I think that 4301 means that you are trying to recover what is not on the tape.
To find out what's on the tape
frecover -rovNf /dev/rmt/0m >/tmp/contents
Check the listing in your graph file with that of the contents file. If you used the same graph file for the backup as the recovery that you are trying to do, i would guess that it was your backup that failed!
