Hi,
I installed FreeBSD 5.1 on vmware , host OS winXP.
The problem is that my LAN have access to the "WORLD", trough an ISA server , witch is managed by the HQ boys.
Security, entreprise etc.
I have a domain user with net access through ISA , but how can i make port-ing from FreeBSD ???
I tried a simple Netscape , putting the proxy IP address , but after asking me the user_name & pwd nothing happend.
I read that ISA uses a certan type of autentication method .
Any idea of software updating behind the corporate ISA ???
B.Regargs..

Rozi88,

The purpose of a Microsoft ISA Server, as I understand it, is to function as a proxy. If your network segment is on a routed network, then you should be able to use the proxy transparently.

I take it that you can't.

Do you use CVSup for port updates? What error message(s) do you recieve when trying to update ports?
