Hello,
Did anybody try to install framepkg.exe remotely? I was trying to use rclient.exe but it failed and don't know hot to do this...

Best Regards
MaR

You should be able to easily push it out via EPO. You just add the machine to your EPO tree, right click on it, and "Send agent install".

However, if you are doing funky things like using multiple subnets or going through remote routers, you may need to tweak your EPO settings accordingly.

If you are not using EPO, then what are you using the agent for?

Carpe diem, procrastination is the thief of time...

The command line we use when installing the agent thru SMS or Altiris is: FramePkg.exe /INSTALL=AGENT /SILENT

In case you were wonder why we use SMS or Altiris: EPO is not good at sending agents to machines that are switched off on the other side of the world...!

I can understand why you would want to deploy it remotely, as I had a need to do so.

has a tool called psexec, free, which is able to remotely execute w/ options. One switch -c allows the file to be executed to be copied to the target machine.

If you need more help you can contact me at mcp@NOSPAM@916806@@@@hotmail.com. Of course you should get rid of NOSPAM and the extra @s.
