Hi,

I was wondering if anyone can help. I have set up a frame based webpage, with a left frame for the menu and a top frame for the top frame.

My problem is that the main frame, is from another website. What appears to be happening is that the main page instead of being under my topmargin, as you would want, it seems to go of to the right more. So the my company banner is in the top left corner, and the text in the main frame, starts in the underneath the middle of my logo but goes of to the left.

Is there a way of getting the mainframe to align to the left more?

On your frames page set your framespacing to 0. Also if you don't need them turn off the scroll bars.

Best case though... don't use frames. They cause more problems than they are worth.

Hope it helps.

Wow JT that almost looked like you knew what you were doing!

And make sure you have the permission of the person who's site you are embedding into your own.

Permission has been granted, but there is no other way of doing this without frames....I would like to attach the files but i don;t seem to be able with this forum.

Basically the text is centered on the main frame and I cannot change that, but i would like to know if there is a way of gettting the text/mainframe closer to the menu frame. So it doesn't appear the text is out there on its own.

The owners won't realign the test as it is a standard page for all their clients/associates.

you could make the frame narrower to force the centre to be to one side of the page.

What about iFrame?

Wow JT that almost looked like you knew what you were doing!

PS, sory for my ignorance, but how would I make the mainFrame narrower?

Make another frame alongside it but put a blank document in it.

Basically split the area into 2 parts.
