I have a page made of 5 frames. Two are outermargins, and the other 3 form a title, main and footer. Easy!

The problem is that when the main frame is filled with text, both vertical and horizontal scrollbars appear. The vertical bar isn't a problem and does exactly what it should. The horizontal bar however, only move the page the page the width of the vertical bar, and displaces all the overlapping graphics. How can I turn off the horizontal scroll bar only. I don't just want to disable it, but rather hide it completely.

Thanks for any help

Genius! So simple, and yet something I hadn't tried! Thanks again.

I have exactly the same problem as BiggerBrother.. Too bad for me is that I do not understand the explenation which is so Genius.

Maybe the reason is because I am Dutch (and do not understand english that well). My guess is that I don't understand it just because I am quite new with the whole CSS, HTML thing.

Can somebody please explain to me more specific what to do.

I am a user of Dreamweaver MX 2004

The 'genius' solution was getting rid of the Doctype. But take it from the experts (cLFlaVA and I) that it is a bad idea. Try to work around it. Maybe show us your page.

Is it ..:

in the pages?

in the frameset?

or maybe even in the CSS file?

Well what the ...

I fixed it !

Trying for over an half hour. But I have fixed it.

In the Frameset, I have put scrolling="YES" in every frame, and now it works:)

Sorry for bothering!
