Frames question

I am using frames. When I set my links in the nav bar, I want to set a link on a dot and also the text--that is two separate links. When I set the link and choose main, the link set with text works just fine. However, when I click on the dot, the page shows in the navbar section.

I can't figure out why this is happening. Any ideas on correcting the problem?

Yes, the target is set correctly.
