I need my movie to go faster than it does. so I changed the fps in the modify/movie window. But changing the fps there does not change the speed of the movie.

Ex. On 120 fps, my movie that is on 60 frames takes more than 3sec to finish. Why?

How can I change that?

flash can be very system hungry in a complex anim, basically you computer isn't fast enough to play it back at 120 fps. your probably going to need to manually shorten the anim.

I dunno about that. I'm running a 700MHz Vega, and in Flash 4 I had the same problem. I also used a Pentium II 450MHz with 160MB RAM, and the same thing happened. HOWEVER, when I upgraded to Flash 5, everything worked as it should. Possibly it was the upgrade to the Flash 5 player? Have you upgraded your player yet? If not I advise you do so at

If that doesn't work, try installing the trial version of Flash 5. I hope you find your solution here.
