Frames - how to load page in frameset by calling page only

I have an frame based intranet. The frame set consists of one menu frame and one datapage frame.
Normally the the frameset is created by calling the default page. the Data pages are called up by the links in the menu frames

What I'd like to do is link to a datapage from an external source, but when the page is loaded it is contained in the frameset.

Any ideas ??
