I building a site using frames. 3 frames. Top, left and main. Top contains a header. Left contains links and a search function. I want the results of the search(its a form + submit + get stuff from database type search) to display on a page that will open in the main frame when the search results are returned.

How do I do this?

Click on the <form> tag (in your status bar) you created around your search field in the search frame. Then select the target (should be somewhere in the object inspector) and enter the main frame's name there. Pass the values as form parameters. Then use a server side scripting language to process these parameters, in a file that is the action of your <form> tag. Choices are huge, a standard does not really exist - there are PHP, JSP, ASP, ColdFusion and many others.

That's the way I would do this...

Hope this helps
