Hi,

I am creating a shopping cart, with the page being split up into 2 frames, one with prooducts and the other being the shopping cart. I have made it able so when you click on the "add to cart" button it automatically calculates the amount, but the disadvantage i have is that each time you add the same item, the table keeps adding a row, i would like it to be if the user selects the same item more than once, then it would stay in the same row, how could this be achieved?

thanks

edd

edd - this is entirely dependent on how your current script works. Does the add-to-cart button cause an action client-side or server-side?

<marc> i wonder what will happen if i press this...[ul][li]please tell us if our suggestion has helped[/li][li]need some help? faq581-3339[/li][/ul]

the add to cart button causes an action client side scripting.

thanks
