I have an 11C with a TMDI card. Service into the card is PRI NI-2. I am getting the PRI service from a service provider (Broadcomm) who uses an Adtran Integrated Access Device to supply both a IP WAN connection for Internet access to the customer and an ISDN PRI connection for voice services to the 11C. The problem is that I keep seeing frame slip errors and once I receive enough, the TMDI card will disable. I see the errors by listing lcnt in LD 60. I stat the clock and it says it is locked to the primary clock reference which is the clock of the TMDI card. I forced the clock to free run and the card will stay up for a few days .
I could just change the parameters in LD 73 for the clock errors but would like to see if anyone has any other suggestions. I also am going to put an analyzer (Sunset T-10) on the T-1 circuit to see what is happening.
It seems to me that the clock I am receiving from the ADTRAN unit is not stable.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Ken
