Frame size keeps changing 1

Creating a new document at 3.792 x 5 inches - draw frame with stroke to inside - try to set to 3.792 x 5 and the width will not go that size - type it in and changes to 3.7919. Have reset permissions. No go.

Can open documents of the same size created previously or by others and frame size shows 3.792 x 5.

CS2 on PowerMac G5

Open the Transform window and uncheck "dimensions inlcude stroke weight".

ID will add the stroke to totlat size no matter where the stroke is aligned on box as long as the above is checked.
