We printed a .htm page locally. We could place this on a website or send it stand alone via an email to our customers. In this page were links who jumped inside the page to a certain section. Now our chief likes to create the same document like a frame. On top you have the head. On the left the links and in the right frame you had the pages. No problem if we publish this on the Internet. But how to send this as a single page stand alone via email in one single page ? Is this possible ? Because the frame is a single page but inside its composed about at least 3 pages (top, left, right) and even more. Because every link should refer to a new page on click that appear in the right.

regards and txs, pat

If you really had to do it then you could send the frameset page and providing that

1. the users mail program supported frames
2. the user had an open internet connection when viewing the email

it should work

I would really, strongly advise AGAINST doing it that way though.
Why not make a single page?
What is the point of having an emailed page set in frames? I can't see any benefit?

Could you send them a text mail with a link in it?

On the whole HTML support in email apps is shakey, if you have to send HTML, keep it simple. It will be more effective.

Although frames isn't the ideal method, whatever you're publishing as a web page you can send as an email. Just send the page with the frames and the links.

There's always a better way. The fun is trying to find it!

txks, thats why I first created one single page. I included a link to the same page on the web and included the page as an .htm in the mail (for customers without Internet Access). I hope my boss is convince not to make it more difficult then it should be.
