Hi all,
I work in a telco company, located in a small island.
We are going to build in a very near future a Frame Relay network with a B-STDX9000 switch from Lucent.
Also, we need to connect our switch to another FR cloud though a satellite link (NNI connection).
We want to connect first this FR switch to a router, which will also concentrate all others ip traffics, before sending data to the satellite.
(FR Switch - Router - Modem - Satellite)
And the router will be connected to the satellite modem with a HSSI card.
At the opposite side, we will have the same components (Satellite - Modem - Router - FR switch).
Is it possible to connect 2 FR switches through 2 routers ? If so, what are the requirements to have ?
Or, it is obliged to keep a layer 2 end to end to connect 2 FR switches ?
Thanks.
