frame rate

Hi people,

I was wondering if it possible to set the frame rate of an externally loaded movie to a different frame rate than the movie it is embedded within.

I basically have a flash site that loads flash movies using loadMovie command, however, the frame is lost within these movies and simply adopts the main site frame rate.

Help... please.... anyone.....

Don't think you can change that. I'm pretty sure the framerate is always subject to the parent movie.

You might try the Flash javascript object document.frameRate (MX 2004) to change the framerate of the parent movie when you need to speed it up.

Top x.swf loaded & running at same speed as blue dot, i.e. 60fps...

Bottom x.swf running +/- at 30fps...
