Frame Rate 1

Using Flash 5.

Is there a way to control the frame rate through actionscript? i.e. can whoever is running the file speed up or slow down the movie as its running via a button?

Any links or suggestions welcome.

There is no way to change FPS on the fly , but there are ways to simulate that .

have a look at this download..gives a workaround using a timer movie clip
