I am trying to import a pop up menu into a Top frame into an index.htm consisting of a top and main frame from Fireworks 4 into Dreamweaver 3 I am finding that the Button is displayed in a top frame. However the drop down menu does not work.

I am also wandering if you have to have the top frame wide enough to accomodate the deepest drop down menu or can the drop down menu overlap into the main frame underneath

Please can any one advise.

Thanks Nick

Drop down menus can not cross frames. So to answer your question yes.. your top frame must be large enough to accomodate the deepest level of drop down.

Perhaps your drop down menu is working correctly but you can't see it. Try checking that page by itself without looking at it in the frameset.

Hope it helps.

Wow JT that almost looked like you knew what you were doing!
