frame focus problem need help

hi
i've two frames top and bottom frames in a frameset
the bottom frame has an anchor tag which i've used to set focus to a particular line in the bottom frame thru a script in the body window.location.href=#focus
focus is the name of the anchor
when the main page which has the frameset gets loaded the focus should on a particular line in the bottom frame
this works fine in IE 5.0 and netscape browsers
but not in IE 5.5
why is it so?
