Hi !
I have a page that displays five frames. The alignment seems to be ok for the browser that has netscape set for language "english ", but it is misaligned for browser set for language "Japanese", being the resolution same. What could be the problem. And how to resolve it. Can we assign dynamic values for frameset and frame tag.

Thanks
AJP

Netscape does this bizarro thing where it calculates absolute frame sizes by determining the percentage that the frame size represents in the window (whatever size it is), and then converting that percentage back into pixels. This results in in very erratic behavior because of all the rounding of numbers.

Netscape also does this evil thing of relaoding when things (like the size of the browser window) are changed. The result of the reload can be disastrous to some pages.

You can dynamically generate your frameset by document.write-ing different frame sizes, but to do that you will probaby have to ask visitors which language the want, then load up the page with the appropriate frame sizes.
