One of our customer wants a balance sheet to be produced in Functional as well as in Source currency. Is there a formula in FR which can enable me do that?
They want it to print historical exchange rate and not to put one of a specific period.

I thank you in advance
Francis

Thanks tuba2007 and ettienne for quick reply.
Yes Functional is shown by default I want another column for source currency. But if I use FRRATE I will be required to use exchange rate of the period I am printing. I though there could be a way where the historical exchange rate should be used.

Also FRRATE will only bring the Exchange rate of the period I am printing.

Thanks
Francis

By historical rate I mean the functional amount should be calculated using the date it was posted - document date. But if we use =FRRATE we can only be able to get the ex-rate of the date you selected when printing. May be I don't know the good word to use but my example below can help to understand what I meant:-

23-01-2016 transport usd. 12 exrate -say- 2100 functional is tzs. 25200.
09-02-2016 transport usd. 12 exrate -say- 2150 functional is tzs. 25800.
22-03-2016 transport usd. 12 exrate -say- 2200 functional is tzs. 26400.

If you print the report using =FRRATE in date 31-03-2016 the total functional will be 36 usd. X 2200 and will become tzs. 79200 because =FRRATE calculates using the print date i.e 31-03-2016. Instead the amount should be tzs. 77400. where all exrate will be used as per particular document date.

Again thanks for your help, I hope you don't get tired with my questions.

Did I answer your question on the Sage 300 forum?

You can try =FRAMTA("NETP","","","USD.S")
That is assuming all source currency transactions are in USD.
