Apologize for this basic query, as I'm just a tech user trying to set up and configure my own sbs2008/exchange2007 network. I've bought a godaddy ssl cert an I can't figure out what my fqdn is. After research, I thought it would be "remote.domain.com" but I'm getting this msg from the godaddy csr request page:
"The requested common name, remote.domain.com., is not a fully-qualifed domain name, and must be used on an internal server. Please confirm that this certificate is not meant to be World Wide Web-accessible, otherwise please use a fully-qualified domain name."
I've checked my unleashed book, searched online and can't seem to find this. Anyone put me out of my misery?
Thanks,
Scott
